Luang Prabang's peninsula

Bungalows on the edge of the Mae Kok River, towards the tip of Luang Prabang's peninsula

One of Luang Prabang's many narrow alleyways

some of the many beautiful trees scattered everywhere throughout L.P.

Looking West (?) across the peninsula of LP with the Mekong River below.

Sunset from the highest hill in town(100m.) Looking over the Mekong.

writing of viet nam evoked the tender feel of these neighborhoods, how the young men and women, somewhere in the shade, listening to the insect clicks of the swaying bamboo...duras' novel L'Amant allowed me to feel what you are experiencing, now, in this beautifully swaying place
